GM type 2 pump and hydroboost

Walter, what we have here is a failure to communicate. Let's try this again.... first let me say, that I cannot make out the various differences in the shades of the lines in your diagram, therefore, I cannot tell which is supposed to be high pressure, nor which is supposed to be low pressure despite the key in the chart.

Please look at the part of your post that I've quoted above^...

in that quote, you stated that the "Low pressure" from the hydroboost has to go to the steering box, but in the photo diagram that I included in my last post, you'll see that atleast on the Hydratech set-up, there isn't any "low pressure" port that gets a line hooked to it that will lead to the steering box. There's only ONE low pressure port on the Hydratech hydroboost unit, and that is supposed to be hooked with the INCOMING line which comes from the power steering pump. NOT from the steering box.

My point is, that in the Hydratech photo diagram, it clearly shows that the port on the unit itself that gets fitted with the hose that is supposed to lead to the steering box, is a HIGH PRESSURE port. NOT a LOW pressure port, as you've indicated in your quoted words above.

So either, you've made an honest mistake in what you said in that post, or the photo diagram I posted that's from the Hydratech company is wrong, OR, the Hydratech hydroboost unit is different than the OE type Hydroboost units, that people remove from trucks to put on their cars. So which is it?
